Clarifying Questions:

  1. What was the goal of this feature? Was it to improve retention, engagement?
  2. Is this endorsement being used anywhere else other than user's profile? Example, in matching a user to a job.

Assumptions:

  1. The goal of the feature was to improve engagement and to give user a way to show their skill level along with proof from someone they have worked with, just like recommendations on profile.
  2. Currently the endorsements are only shown in profile and are not used for anything else.

Primary Metrics:

  1. Number of endorsements received - Shows that both the user requesting and giving the endorsement are onboard and engaged because of the feature.

Secondary Metrics:

  1. Number of endorsement requests sent
  2. Number of endorsements received/ Number of endorsement requests sent
  3. Number of users sending endorsement requests
  4. Number of users giving endorsements
  5. Percentage of endorsement request rejected
